OK, I just missed BlogWorld (but Glenda Watson Hyatt made it!). Now I’m feeling really itchy to get to some tech/blogging conferences. Went to a few PodCamps in ‘07 but haven’t been back since. Anyone got some good ideas where I should turn first? Have you been? What have you seen? What good came out [...]
A few weeks ago, at the ICF conference in Long Beach CA, I had the pleasure of hanging with Linda Puig of Claire Communications. Linda always has good, break out of the box ideas. This year was no different.
Linda eschewed her usual booth in the vendor/trade show area, and instead had a set of long [...]
At the informational/inspirational firehose that is the annual ICF conference, that’s where. The International Coach Federation were kind enough to invite me on as their pre-conference speaker this year … and whew! It was a whirlwind. Boy, did I have fun!

3. Get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of presentations [...]
This post is coming courtesy of that Booth den-mother to all us, Sylva LeDuc, who taught me most of what I know about proper booth-maintenance. We call Sylva’s gift ‘Booth Fung Shui.’ And a nod to my booth-sister, Linda Puig of Claire Communications, who’s been there many times.
No matter how small the booth, invite people [...]
So this year marked my fourth stab as a conference vendor. Mind you, I did this despite personally warning David Wood and anyone else who would listen NEVER to get a booth unless you’re speaking. (That’s the only time I ever made any real money as a vendor.)
At least, that’s what my experience had proven [...]
